Obituary of Arthur Bostad

Arthur Bostad passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of ninety-one. Beloved husband of Dorla (Boomhour) for over 70 years. Sadly missed by daughter Christine (Steve), son Mark and daughter Pam (Kimber), along with his grandchildren Jennifer (Ron), Billy (Emma) and Robby, and his great-grandchildren Leo and Charlie. Many nieces and nephews will miss Art as well as his family and friends in B.C. and Alberta. He is predeceased by his sisters Lisa and Sigrid, and his parents Helga Ulstein and Nils Bostad of Norwegian descent. Best remembered for his Art’s Telephone Service in Inverary and long time member of Civitan.

The family would like to thank Dorla’s sister Barb Hamilton and son Mark for all their extra care.

No public services. Interment will be at Glenhaven Cemetery at a later date.
