Obituary of Elsje Hoogendoorn
HOOGENDOORN, Elsje (nee Looyen)
April 20, 1933 – January 13, 2022
On Thursday, January 13, 2022, God, in His great wisdom, called home His child, Elsje Hoogendoorn, in her 89th year, to be forever with her Lord and Saviour. She was the beloved wife of the late Roeland Hoogendoorn. Elsje will be lovingly remembered by her children Irma, Eric (Elaine) and Calvin (Carla), 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A private Interment will take place at the Cataraqui Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, between 5 pm – 7 pm. All guests must RSVP to the funeral home at 613-544-3411, daily 9 - 5, to register attendance and show their QR Enhanced Vaccine Certificate and photo ID when they arrive.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, at 11 AM in the James Reid Funeral Home Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd). All guests must RSVP to the funeral home at 613-544-3411, daily 9 -5, to register attendance and show their QR Enhanced Vaccine Certificate and photo ID when they arrive.
