Obituary of Betty May Silver

SILVER Betty - Quietly and peacefully at Rideaucrest Home on Thursday, January 13, 2022 in her 93^rd year.  Betty May Silver, beloved wife of the late Ernest James Silver (1984). She is survived by her sons, Wayne Silver (Cynthia) of Ottawa, Steven (Marianne) of Cataraqui, her daughter Barbara Silver (Joe Cormier) of Kingston and her grandson Ernest (Ashlee) of Longview Texas. She is also survived by her beloved cat Kalvin.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd, on Sunday, January 16th between 7 pm -9 pm.   All guests must RSVP to the funeral home at 613-544-3411 before attending and show their QR Enhanced Vaccine Certificate and photo ID when they arrive.

Funeral services will be held at the Kingston Standard Church, corner of Sunnyside and Sydenham Road in Kingston at 1:00 PM on Saturday January 22nd.  Reverend Rob McCallum and Steven E. Silver will officiate.  The funeral will be live streamed by using this link: (SERVICE LINK)

Betty never met a cat that she didn’t like. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Kingston Humane Society or Napanee SPCA.
