Obituary of Ronald Hector Millson

Ron went to his Eternal Home on January 12, 2022 in his 94th year.  Born June 5, 1928 in London, Ontario he is predeceased by his parents Hector Herman Millson and Margaret Millson (nee Hobbs) and also six siblings: Marjorie, Garnet, Leslie, Mrytle, Ray and Lula.

Beloved husband of 67 years to Verna Millson. Ron had four children: Susan Martin (Robert) of Kingston, Stephen Millson (Nicole) of Welland, Lyn Charlton (Wayne) of Strathroy and Mary Mountenay (Carl) of London.

He was also blessed with 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. 

Ron did some farming in his early years, as well as carpentry and finally teacher’s college. He had also attended Bible School and after only teaching for a few years, he felt the call of God strongly on his life to full-time ministry.  This calling took him to northern Ontario and also short-term mission trips to Africa, Russia and New Zealand. 
 

A private family funeral will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022, at James Reid Funeral Home, with internment to follow at Cataraqui Cemetery.
