John died peacefully at home in his 93rd year.  He was a loving and devoted husband and will be deeply missed by Pat, his children, Barb (Larry), John (Suzie), Judy (Fernando) and Sue (Mark), his stepchildren Holly and Steve, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as his brother Bruce (Judy).  John was predeceased by his parents, John L. Wilson and Lois Wilson, and earlier this year by his sister, Jane Trotter.  Although John enjoyed practicing law, he much preferred to golf, hunt, fish, make maple syrup, cut wood and build anything from cedar strip canoes to cottages.  Thanks to the many health care providers who helped to make John’s journey easier.  Cremation has taken place and John’s ashes will be scattered at Devil Lake when summer arrives.
