Obituary of Verna Elizabeth Fleming

Verna Elizabeth Fleming (nee Barber) peacefully at home in her 96th year. Wife of over 50 years to the late Howard, predeceased in 1996. Loving mother of Brenda Bardon (Michael), Steve Fleming (Cathy), and Jeff Fleming (Shannon). Younger sister of Jessie Charlton, deceased 2020.

Devoted grandmother to 7 grandchildren: Adam, Erin and Colette Fleming, Sherry McKinnon, Tara Fleming, Christine Fader and Elizabeth Bardon. Doting great grandma to Isabelle and Carter Lewis.

Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Verna was a loyal Blue Jays fan and also loved looking after the balcony flowers in summertime.

The family wish to thank the kind and attentive staff of Kingsbridge Retirement Home for their tender care over the past two years.

Due to Covid restrictions a private family service will be held at James Reid Funeral Home on Thursday December 30th at 2:30 pm. To view the service please CLICK HERE . Burial at Tara Cemetery to follow in the spring.
