MCCONNELL, William E. "Bill"

It is with great sorrow that I, Brigitte McConnell, announce the death of my loving husband, Bill McConnell after 66 years of marriage.  He suffered a long illness and he died at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre while I held his hand on Friday, December 17, 2021.  He is predeceased by his parents, Albert and Euphemia McConnell and his sister, Norma Smith.  A Memorial Reception will be held in the Reception Centre of the James Reid Funeral Home (entering from the rear parking lot), 1900 John Counter Boulevard on Saturday, May 7 between the hours of 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm, with Words of Remembrance at 4:00 pm. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Kingston Humane Society, or Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre. 

In accordance with Brigitte's heartfelt desire to protect her vulnerable guests, she kindly insists that everyone who wishes to attend please respectfully wear a mask while not consuming food or beverages.
