As a young child, Don moved from Detroit to Cornwall, ON. When Don was a teen, the family moved to Kingston, ON. As a young man, Don joined the St. George’s Cathedral Choir. Being a member of the choir and playing the piano was a most enjoyable part of his life. After Don became a teacher, he continued to share his love for music with his students through numerous choirs and musicals.
Don lived a very full and happy life. He gave tirelessly to his family, his profession, students and community.
A celebration of life is being planned for a future date in the new year. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Kingston Food Sharing Project and the Frontenac County Schools Museum would be appreciated by the family.
