Edward (Ted) Thomson

Sadly we announce the passing of Edward (Ted) Thomson in the early morning hours of November 29, 2021 at Providence Care with his wife of 59 years, Janet (nee Patterson) at his side.

Much loved father of Scott (Tammy), Mike (Karen) and Laura (D’arcy Tryan).  Cherished grandfather of Kenny, Korey, Paige, Bryanne, Kody & Shayla.

Predeceased by his father Peter, mother Marion (nee Covey), brothers Bruce (Betty) & Wayne (Joan) and sister Shirley (Clarence Massey).

Ted was a long time employee of Dupont Canada – Kingston. After retiring in 1998, he could be found walking the old K&P trails.  He & his wife enjoyed Round & Square dancing with the Kingston Limestone Dancers and camping with friends & family.

Cremation has taken place at James Reid Funeral Home and there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice in memory of Ted.
