Obituary of Freida Martha Miller
Freida Martha Miller (nee MacDonald)
June 16, 1931 – November 28, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, Freida, at Providence Care Hospital, Kingston, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her beloved husband James Burton "Burt" Miller (2011) and her precious daughter Nancy Lynn (1970).
She will be dearly missed by her daughters Ann Lee Mulder (Erik) and Dawn Miller (Roger), cherished grandchildren Daniel (Jeanne), Andrew (Julie), Jonathan (Laura), Matthew, Kyle, and great-grandchildren Abby and Isaac.
Freida was born in Kenmore, ON to the late John and Nina MacDonald. She was a loving sister to Dorothy Boland, Carson MacDonald, Muriel Whiteside, Bessie Carson, Mildred Munro, and Lois Eastman and a caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Freida was a caring and compassionate person who always put her family first. She was a gifted quilter and loved to bake and follow her favourite sports teams. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and will be missed by many.
As per Freida’s wishes, a private Christian burial will be held at a later date at the Springhill Cemetery in Metcalfe, Ontario, where Freida will be reunited with her beloved Burt and daughter Nancy. For those who wish, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
