Obituary of Michael Joseph McKegney

Michael McKegney, son of Hazel and Paul McKegney and brother of John, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 18, 2021, after a brief illness. He is survived by his brother John (Angela), niece Hazel and nephew Christopher. Mike was a friend to many people in the community and always had a smile. He delivered internal mail at Hotel Dieu Hospital for 25 years and looked forward to going to work every day. He also volunteered at the Humane Society, the Food Bank and many other places. Michael lived at the Melanie Avenue Group Home, managed by Community Living Kingston for 25 years.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made to Community Living Kingston in his memory.

His hugs will be forever missed.
