Obituary of Frederick Lyle Clancy

Clancy, Frederick L. “Ted” – We lost the Patriarch of “The Clancy Clan” on November 7, 2021. He was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer on September 24, 2021 and declined quickly. He passed quietly at home.

Ted Clancy was predeceased by beloved wife Beverley Clancy who passed away March 22, 2009, his daughter Kim Clancy Power (Rob Power), his brothers Les Clancy and Keith Clancy and sisters Grace McNeill (late Hugh McNeill) and Doreen Patterson (late Leo Patterson)

He is survived by his children Vickie Clancy, Kent Clancy and grandchildren Bryer Clancy, Celina Power, Garrett Power, Jackson Clancy, Tyler Watts and Brandon Watts as well as his brother-in-law TJ Maxwell and sister-in-law Mary-Ellen Clancy.

The family is welcoming guests to James Reid Funeral Home on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. RSVP is not necessary to attend the visitation.
There will a service in the chapel on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 am. RSVP is required by calling 613-544-3411 between 9:00 am – 4:00 pm daily. Social distancing will be monitored and masks must be worn. For those not attending in person, please CLICK HERE to register for the livestream.

Memorial donations can be made to University Hospitals Foundation Kingston – Cancer Centre (UHKF).
