Obituary of Lila Mary Boucher

Lila Mary Margaret Boucher

October 2nd 1920 – November 2nd 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our beloved Mother, Lila Mary Margaret Boucher (nee Sullivan), on November 2nd 2021, at the age of 101, at Rideaucrest Home, in Kingston, Ontario. Finally back in the arms of her soulmate husband, Maurice Romeo Boucher, who has been waiting for her for almost 20 years.

Lila loved to dress up and dance, be it ballroom, round or square dancing, she and Maurice owned the floor. The fancy foot work showcased her petite high heel shoes, and if you know Lila, those heels weren’t just for a night out dancing, she always wore heels. When she wasn’t busy working in Ladies Fashions at Sears, she loved hosting holidays and many parties. But most of all, her passion and love was for her family, and she alone held us all together, and for that, we are forever grateful.

Dearly missed by her children, Sharon (Lou Sebesta, deceased), Sandra (Craig Rump, deceased), Dwayne (Donna Boucher), Garry (June Boucher), Susan (Peter Jorgensen), Sherry (Jeffery Caldwell), 18 Grandchildren and 29 Great-Grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents Harold and Lillian Sullivan, and her siblings Arthur (late Helen), Eileen, Kenneth (late Gerry), and Glenn (Laurie).

Lila and her family would like to thank everyone at Rideaucrest Home for their endless love and support.
