Obituary of Ernest McNair

ERNEST MCNAIR
Aug. 3, 1934 - Oct. 18, 2021
We are sad to announce that Ernie passed away suddenly
on Oct. 18 at his home in Harrowsmith.
Born in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England, he immigrated to
Canada in 1948 with his family. He met the love of his life
Audrey McNair (nee Cronk) and they married on Oct. 16,
1954. He was a devoted father to Pam Davison (Mike),
Barbara McNair (Rob Carson), Brenda McNair (Bill Burr)
and Linda McNair. Loving grandfather to Lisa Livermore
(Jordan) and Lindsay Pace (Jon), and 2 great grandsons
Branden & James Livermore.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Rita Kennedy and Sallie Fish
(Keith) and many nieces & nephews in Canada and cousins
in England. Predeceased by his parents Ernest & Daisy,
and by Audrey’s sister & brother-in-law Frona & Cecil
Peters.
A private family ceremony will be held on Friday, October
22, 2021, private visitation 11:00 am, service 12:00. All
