Geoff died gently and peacefully at home in the arms of his soulmate in the early morning hours of Monday October 11th, 2021 at the age of 54. He is survived by his wife, Meriel, children, Graeme (Jennifer), Bryce, Emily-Kate, and honourary-daughter and niece Allie, his parents, Dr. Don and Dr. Sandra Taylor and his sister, Susan (Robert Murphy). He was predeceased by his sister Kate (Michael Azulay). His family will always take inspiration from his fight with cancer and know him as the pinnacle of resiliency. A true Kingston man, Geoff will be remembered as a beloved father, husband, son and brother, a trusted colleague in the operating room, a committed coach, a pub buddy and, above all, a good friend. His family and commun​​ity will not forget his lively spirit or his never-ending courage. Following Geoff’s wishes, he was cremated and there will be no service.
