Spafford, Inda Mae

June 14, 1924 – October 4, 2021

Mom passed away peacefully at Providence Manor. She is predeceased by her husband George Myles Spafford. Loving mother to sons Allen and Karl (Michelle). Adored grandmother to Sara (Mahyar), Rebekah (Will), Lee (Meagan) and Danielle. Cherished great grandmother to Stella, Allie and Declan. Born on Wolfe Island to Allen and Mildred Keyes. She moved to Sydenham (Spafford’s Corners) when she married George on October 25, 1952, where she embraced her life on the farm as well as her new community. She was always helping others and always with a smile. If you knew her, you loved her. Visitation will be held at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd.) on Tuesday, October 12 between 12:00 and 2:00 pm. Covid protocols will be followed. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm in Sydenham Cemetery (Please RSVP to the Funeral Home 613-544-3411 between 9 and 4 pm).

A very special thanks to Providence Manor. There are no words to express our appreciation, mom spent 11 years there and the care was exceptional. Donations may be made to UHKF (Providence Manor Building Fund) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
