Obituary of Rosaleen Emmons

EMMONS, Rosaleen (nee Gaunt)

1934 – 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Rosaleen, at the Providence Care Hospital on Monday, October 4^th.  Rosaleen was the beloved wife of the late Donald Douglas Emmons., and dear mother of Nancy Lovell and Mark Emmons (Paula). Treasured Gramma to her three grandsons, Donald Douglas (Lacy), Luke Sydney (Corbin) and Douglas John (Sabrina). Special  GG to Cohen and Dakota.  She was the truly beloved sister to the late Kathleen and Donald Sims and  Rosaleen will be lovingly remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A heartfelt thank you is extended to Dr. Colin Wilson and Beth Giberson, as well as Dr. Frank and  the exceptional staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Providence Care Hospital, for the wonderful care that Rosaleen received.

In keeping with Rosaleen’s wishes a private family graveside service was held at the Cataraqui Cemetery.

Rosaleen’s final wish to her family and friends was to “Remember me in our happy times together”.
