Obituary of Jack Hardy
Hardy, John Douglas: Passed away peacefully in Kingston with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the age of 91. Jack was born November 18, 1929 and was the cherished husband of 68 years to Frances (nee Brimmell)
He is survived by daughters Pat North-Lewis (James) and Sharon Dillon (Doug), grandchildren James North-Lewis, Jeremy North-Lewis, Tessa Hagivassilis, Jack Dillon, Zoë Howes and great-grandchildren Chelsea, Mya, Ben and Jaxon.
Jack’s career spanned more than fifty years as a trader on the floor of the Toronto Stock Exchange. He was well-liked and respected by his collegues on the floor. When the floor of the exchange closed, he continued trading for W.D Latimer Co. Limited online until he retired at the age of 76. He was cherished by friends for his sense of humour, integrity and his kind and generous nature. Jack enjoyed an active life that included skiing, golf, and tennis. Jack and Fran enjoyed tavelling the world together with family and close friends. He cherished time in the Kawarthas on Cameron Lake.

Cremation has been entrusted to James Reid Funeral Home, Kingston, Ontario. At this time, there will be no visitation or service. Those people wishing to make a memorial donation, please make it to The Salvation Army.
