Sadly, but peacefully, on Friday September 24, 2021 at Providence Care Hospital at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Russell Brown. Loving mother to Sharon Lunman (Alfred) and Douglas Brown (Fern).  Affectionately known as "Gramma" to Corey, Kyle (Kristen) and Casey, as well as a special "G.G."  to her adored great-grandchildren  Adelyn, Grayson, Colton, Tanner, Emma, Gavin and Ewan. Survived by her brothers James, Dennis, Victor, Gary, Ron, David and Richard. Predeceased by her parents James and Mildred McQueen and siblings, Betty, Barbara, Bob, Dorothy and Audrey. She will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews , extended family and friends.  Funny and feisty to the end she will be greatly missed.

Family and friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Wednesday, September 29 between the hours of 12:45 and 1:45 pm.  A private funeral will follow in the Chapel with Reverend Judith Evenden officiating.  Interment at Cataraqui Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Kingston Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Covid protocols require contact tracing and that masks be worn and physical distancing adhered to. The family and the funeral home thank you for your co-operation.
