CURTIS, Shirley Eileen (McLaughlin)
Peacefully at Carveth Care Centre in Gananoque, surrounded by the love of family, on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021. Shirley Curtis, in her 93rd year, beloved wife of the late Ronald G. Curtis. Predeceased by her husband Ronald G. Curtis and daughter-in-law, Sheila Curtis. Dear mother of Jane Scott (Robert) of Pembroke, Diane Johnson (Ralph) of Algonquin Highlands, Paul Curtis (Jennifer) of Ottawa. Loving grandmother of Holly Murree (Simon), Sally Parker (Mike), Kurt Dehaan (Kim), Shirleen Dehaan, Heidi Curtis (Matt), and to 11 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her close friend Phylis McGregor.
Friends will be received at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, Kingston on Saturday, September 25th at 10:00 am. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 11:00 am, followed by a graveside service at Cataraqui Cemetery, Archdeacon Bill Clarke officiating. RSVP is not required for the visitation however you must RSVP to attend the service due to covid restrictions. Please call 613-544-3411 between 9:00 - 5:00 pm to reserve a seat.
