Obituary of Gillian Rose McKeogh Strahlendorf

We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden death of Gillian Rose Strahlendorf on September 11, 2021 at her home on Dog Lake, Ontario.  She was 27 years old.  Cherished daughter of Carole McKeogh and Peter Strahlendorf.  Beloved sister of Edward Strahlendorf and Aidan Whitworth. Dear cousin of Kirsten and Olive Strahlendorf.  She will be remembered by her many friends and especially Aidan Flynn and Sarah Glickman who were her friends from childhood.  Gillian loved her family, her friends and her dogs, and especially her puppy Ben who adored her. Her most beloved place was Star Island where she knew true happiness and peace.

A service will be held in the chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 1:30 p.m  As seating for the service is limited due to Covid restrictions, please call the funeral home at 613-544-3411 to RVSP.  The service will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person, by using this link.  LIVESTREAM SERVICE LINK
