Obituary of Timothy James Potter
Potter, Timothy James
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Tim on September 7th, 2021. Tim was a loving husband and will be sadly missed by his wife Gerda, his children, Joe, Jayne, Cyrena. Loving grandfather to Mac, Will, Elizabeth, Catherine, Seneca. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Arlene, his sister Autumn, Paul, Glen, Giles, Mike. Tim will be missed by the Bos family, many nieces and nephews who affectionately referred to him as GUT (great uncle Tim).
Born and raised in Kingston. Tim was in the arts and antique business for 46 years and auctionaeer extraordinaire for 36 years. Before passing Tim forged a trail of laughter, generosity, compassion and wisdom. He mastered the art of sarcasm which was his native tongue. Tim wove a tapestry of one liners that still hangs over the antique community.
An emergency staff meeting was called at Freezer Mikes bracing for the anticipated drop in sales.
