Obituary of Clarence Gordon Bourdon

BOURDON, Clarence Gordon

21 February 1936 - 17 August 2021

 

Clarence Bourdon, in his eighty-fifth year, passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital with his daughter by his side. Born in Hemmingford, Quebec, and most recently of Inverary, Ontario, Clarence was a cherished husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Florence (nee Tomlinson), parents George and Marie (nee Houle), and brother Russel (Cecile). Clarence is survived by his loving daughter Suzanne (Laurier), brother Kenneth (Betty-Jane), nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. 

 

Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday, September 1st, from 3 -5 pm at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston.  A service celebrating Clarence’s life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, September 2nd at 2:00 pm, followed by burial at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. As seating for the service is limited due to Covid restrictions, please call the funeral home at 613-544-3411 to RSVP.  The service will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend the service in person, by using this link, SERVICE LIVESTREAM

 

For those who wish, donations in Clarence’s memory may be made to the Inverary United Church or to U.H.K.F. (Cancer Center of SE Ontario at KGH).
