Obituary of Lance Stuart Lakins

With broken hearts we announce that Lance, our beloved son, partner, brother and friend has unexpectedly passed away on August 15, 2021.

Lance leaves behind his loving parents, Harry and Janet. His devoted partner Blake. His “favourite” brother Lane (Jodie) along with the apples of his eye Cale, Cohen, Gibson and Jerilyn who affectionately call him Nick. Fondly remembered by his aunt Laura (late Tom), his uncle Kevin and his cousins Ryan (Julia), Karsha (Brad) and Matt (Ashley).

Lance has touched the lives of many through his years of work at Roots and his love of a good party. Cherished by countless close friends whose lives are forever better because of his friendship.

In lieu of a funeral service and to honour Lance’s character, put on your best shoes, get your favourite drink and toast a man who will be eternally missed.
