Obituary of Elizabeth Anne Tennant

TENNANT, Elizabeth Anne

Much loved and respected mother and former Sears employee, Elizabeth passed away peacefully, in her 90th year, on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Helen Henderson Care Centre in Amherstview. Elizabeth was the beloved wife of 67 years to the late James Tennant.  Loving mother of Susan (the late Jim Owen), Edward (Carol), Becky (Dave) and Tony (Lil).  Proud grandmother of Ben (Daniela), James, Jordan and Brad.  Survived by her sister Katherine Purvis and predeceased by sisters Margaret, Harriet and brother James.  Also remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and their families.  Cremation at James Reid Crematorium will be followed by a private family graveside service with a Celebration of Life at a later date.  The family extends sincere gratitude to all the staff at both Briargate and Helen Henderson for their loving care and compassion and for ensuring that she felt like a part of their family.  As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Kingston Humane Society in Elizabeth's memory.
