1930 - 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Geneva Keyes announces her passing on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Rideaucrest Home. She was in her 91st year. Predeceased just a few weeks ago by her beloved husband of 68 years, Arthur.  Loving Mom of Nan (Paul), Diane (Mike), Dean (Caroline) and Joanne.  Proud “Nana” to Grandchildren Gregg (Kelsey), Bethany (Jeff), Joel (Becky), Blake, Julie (Shawn), Jordan (Ashley), Lauren and her Great Grandchildren Ellie, Easton, Rory, Addie, Lachlan, Grant and Emmett.  Geneva was the dear sister of Linda Brown (Wayne) and the late Barbara Reid (Stratton, dec.) and sister-in-law of Winn McKnight (Russ, dec.), Ken Keyes (Carrie, dec.) and Lorne (Riggie, dec.).  Geneva will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family friends and Wolfe Island community friends.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 2 - 5 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston.  COVID protocols will be in effect and masks must be worn inside and outside the funeral home while waiting for the opportunity to visit with the family.  A private family graveside service will be held at Point Alexandria Cemetery on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.  Donations in memory of Geneva may be made to the Wolfe Island Fire Department or to the Partners in Mission Food Bank.
