Obituary of Frank Misztal

MISZTAL, Frank Z. (MCpl Ret'd)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Frank at Providence Care Hospital, Palliative Unit, on Sunday, June 20, 2021, in his 76th year.  Dear son of the late Frank and Maria Misztal.  Loving husband of Donna.  Cherished father of Christopher and his wife Julia, Andrew, Danny, Jeanine Lloyd and her husband Jason. Proud Dziadziu (grandfather) of Jacob, Jonathan and Aiden Misztal, Sydney Lloyd and Angel and Isobel Misztal.  Frank is survived by his sisters Adele Sporich (Tom) and Susan MacDonald (Mike) and estranged sisters Sonia O’Brien, Wanda Champous and Lillian Karpynczyk and that late Christine. 

Due to the current COVID restrictions a private family ceremony will be held in the chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm.  All are welcome to watch the livestream ceremony from the safety and comfort of their own home by following this LINK.  For those who wish, donations in Franks memory may be made to either Historica Canada (www.historicacanada.ca/donate) or the C and E Museum Foundation (www.mmfoundation.ca).
