Obituary of Brenda Joyce Whaley

Peacefully at home on Friday June 18th, 2021 in her 79th year with her children by her side, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband Nelson (Ed) Whaley and her first son, Harold Whaley. Loving mother of Christina Whaley (Randy), Sylvia Whaley (Terry), Kenneth Whaley (Angela), and Andrew Whaley (Lisa). Loving Grama of Anthony, Jason, Kory, Justyne, Brianna, Nathan, Eric, Aaron, and Taylor. Fondly remembered by her many great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews. Brenda was a long term employee of 35 years at Kingston Regional Laundry. She was also a social butterfly. Often, you could find her at a good game of Bingo, or attending a Jeff Code show at the 560 legion. Her favourite pastime was baking the most delicious deserts, and spending time with her loved ones. The family would like to thank all of her doctors, nurses and PSW’s for the amazing care that she received. As an expression of sympathy, donations to U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre of Eastern Ontario) would be appreciated.
