Wilson, Mac Overton
January 20, 1958 – April 30, 2021
Peacefully at home with his loving family by his side Mac lost his determined and courageous fight to cancer on Friday April 30th, 2021 in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of 45 years to Georgina (Corkey), loving and cherished dad to Tracy Carroll (Andy), Tanya Wilson (Matt) and Adam Wilson. Loving poppy to Jordyn Carroll (Rachel) and Kyana Carroll (Ryan). Predeceased by his parents John and Viola and baby brother David Wilson. Lovingly remembered by nine sisters, four brothers, many nieces, nephews, brothers in law, sisters in law, cousins and friends.
Mac was a hard-working truck driver for Sears-SLH Transport. He devoted 38 years of his life driving before he retired a few years ago. You could always count on Mac to be up at the break of dawn opening day of bass fishing to show the boys who could catch the most fish. lol. Mac loved to get together with family and friends to play some tunes and sing at our yearly fish fry’s.
I would like to give a special thank you to our children, grandchildren, family and friends for all your help and loving support through this heart-breaking time. I would also like to thank Mac’s Doctor K. Pouteau, Michael, Margaret, the Cancer Centre and the rest of his care givers for the excellent care and support you provided to Mac.
Our memories of him will be cherished forever.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Donations would be kindly appreciated to the Kingston Humane Society in Mac’s memory.
