Obituary of Donald Clarence MacRow

MACROW, Donald Clarence

Long term employee of Alcan; Deputy Chief for Kingston Township Volunteer Fire Department at Elginburg; Beekeeper at Beekeeper's Gardens.

Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, March 13, 2021, in his 91st year.  Donald was predeceased by his wives Joan and Kathy.  Father of Jeanine (Lew) and Kevan (Kim).  He will be remembered by his grandchildren, Kalan and Kyva, brother-in-law Doug Shillington and missed by special friend, Diane Mitchell. Predeceased by his sister Doreen Shillington.

The family will receive friends at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Boulevard on Wednesday, March 17 between the hours of 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. (Covid-19 protocols shall be observed which includes contact tracing, wearing of masks and physical distancing. There is to be no social gathering in the parking lot). 

The family will gather privately at Cataraqui Cemetery on Thursday, March 18 for a graveside service officiated by Reverend Lewis Bryant.  As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to University Hospitals Kingston Foundation in Don's memory.
