Obituary of Larry Fortune

FORTUNE, Lawrence Donald

It is with great sadness that the family of Lawrence (Larry) Donald Fortune announces his passing after a brief illness, on Sunday, Dec 15, 2019, at the age of 61 years. Larry will be lovingly remembered by his children Scott and Kristen Fortune, as well as his extended family.

Larry was full of joy, wisdom and dad jokes, and always found a way to bring out the best in those around him.  He has the following wishes for his friends and children:

“Scott and Kris, the one piece of advice I will leave you with is: Dance in your kitchen. Dance with your girlfriends and boyfriends, with your wives and husbands, with your children, with your grandchildren.

Everyone else, I hope life brings you great joy and happiness. I hope I brought you at least a little.”

In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Larry should donate to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation or Doctors without Borders.
