1944 – 2021
It is with great love and memories that the family shares the passing of Arthur Gerald Dingwall on March 1, 2021.
Beloved husband of Daphne (Seymour) for 55 years. Loving father of Vicki Heath, Donna Ammon, and Bill and Gary Dingwall (Armelle). Cherished Papa of Kayla (Josh), Travis (Nimara), Kelsey (Nick), Keirston (Dillon) and Drytan (Emily). Proud Great Grandfather of Yanna, Aubrey and Finley.
Art was predeceased by parents Mabel and Alex, brother Robert, and sister and brother-in-law Jean and Tom Currin. Survived by brothers Tom and Gord and sisters-in-law Carol (Lloyd VanDam) and Susan (Carl Babcock). Fondly remembered by Kurt Ammon. Special thanks to Ann Donovan for her support while Art was at Providence Manor and for providing him with special treats and his favourite beverage.
Art’s wonderful sense of humour and compassion will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A very special thank you to Dr. G. Pari who has cared for Art throughout his Parkinson’s journey with care and compassion. Thank you also to his many care givers, Tara Prettie, Patty Warner, Rosa Hession and the staff of Providence Manor Sydenham 5 and the nurses and doctors of Kingston Health Sciences Centre Kidd 10.
A Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Canada for research or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
