With deep sadness, the family of Clifford Clarke, announce his passing, at Kingston General Hospital, on February 28, 2021, at the age of 85.
Predeceased by his wife Lillian Kathleen (Kay), parents Percy and Lillie Clarke, brother Ralph and sister Jean McLean. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his sisters Phyllis Vanhorne, Irene Curtis and Grace Leakey and their families. Sadly missed by his extended family members, Odessa Fraser (Terry), Heather Hennigar and Paul Hennigar (Carol) and their families.
Cliff was a member of the initial Volunteer Firefighters, in Pittsburgh Township and worked on the family farm on Middle Road, Kingston, until his retirement. He was well known for his easy going manner and was delighted, when he had the opportunity to reminisce about his many experiences, from these good old days.
Cliff enjoyed his last few years at Rideaucrest Home and made countless friends with both residents and staff. Special thanks to Rideaucrest, Riverview Terrace, for their excellent care, and friendly support. Our gratitude goes out to the staff at Kingston General Hospital, Davies 3, for their compassionate care during his short stay.
Arrangements are intrusted to the James Reid Funeral Home, John Counter Blvd. Cremation has taken place with no visitation or funeral. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation can do so to the Heart and Stoke Foundation.
