Dorothy was predeceased by step-son David in November of 1977 and youngest daughter Kim on Easter Sunday of 1979.  She is survived by her husband Burke, daughters Marina (Joe) Stenson, Lesley (John) Woodland and son Brent (Jocelyne).  Also grandchildren Stacey (Brad) Parkin, Sara (Ryan) Smith, Stephanie (David) Vincent, David Woodland, JohnRoss (Kate) Woodland, Joel Breen, Taylor Breen, and great-grandchildren Carter and Chloe Parkin, Jacob, Lucas and Emma Smith, Zachary and Claire Vincent, Sophia and Madison Woodland.  Cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Reception will be held in the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, RECEPTION AND CELEBRATION CENTRE, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Monday, February 3 between the hours of 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm, with Words of Remembrance at 3:00 pm spoken by Pastor Dale Lloyd. (Please enter the Reception Centre from the rear parking lot). As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
