Obituary of Harold John McKendry

MCKENDRY, Harold John
Peacefully, at the Kingston General Hospital, on Sunday, December 8, 2019.  Harold John McKendry, in his 89th year, beloved husband of the late Betty Jean McKendry (nee Joyner).  Dear brother of the late Spence McKendry (Felicity) of Ottawa and the late Carolyn Anglin (Graham) of Brewers Mills. Much loved uncle of David McKendry (Karen), Sandra Mundle (Jim), Susan Kenney (Chris), Jeff Anglin (Geralyn), Scott Anglin (Margaret Anne) and their families. Fondly remembered by extended family and friends. In accordance with Harold’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Glenburnie United Church, 1028 Unity Rd. Glenburnie ON, on Monday, December 16 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Elizabeth Boehm-Wilson officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall. Inurnment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Glenburnie United Church or the Kingston Humane Society, in Mr. McKendry’s memory.
