Obituary of Jannetje Gaveel-Dorrestijn

GAVEEL-DORRESTIJN, Jannetje (Janny) 
Janny died peacefully at Providence Care in the early hours of Monday, November 12th, 2019, in her 85th year, following a period of illness. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Hendrik (Hank) Gaveel. She will be lovingly remembered by her many friends in Canada and family in the Netherlands. Cremation in the care of James Reid Crematorium. Janny was a long-standing member of St. Andrew's-by-the-Lake United Church, where a memorial service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 11:00 am, with a reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew's-by-the-Lake United Church, University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, Amnesty International, the Canadian Wildlife Foundation, Greenpeace Canada, Doctors Without Borders, The United Way of KFL&A, or the National Youth Orchestra Association of Canada.
