McGregor, Ryan Joseph Peter Soronwa:Som

July 23, 1965 to November 4, 2019

Cherished and respected husband, protector, best friend and soul mate of Nicole McGregor (Thomas), stoic and steadfast Step-father of Seth Thomas.  Ryan was the only son of Lucienne and the late Johnny McGregor. He is sadly mourned by his beloved eldest sister Linda (Mike) Brascoupé, as well as his sisters Doris (Michael) O’Brien, and Diane (Bernie) Hervieux. Ryan was warmly welcomed into the O’Connor family and will be sorely missed by Father-in-law, John (Imelda) O’Connor, his one and only Sister-in-law, Samantha (Chris) McFie and brothers in-law Larry, Philip and the late John Jr. and many nieces and nephews. Ryan was the “go to “ guy for many of his work colleagues, and will be especially missed by his “brother” Pete Streekstra. Ryan was a proud Mohawk and United States Marine; and lived by the code "semper fi".  May your spirit soar on Eagles wings, and may you journey along the stars.

Celebration of life will take place on the Marine Corps Birthday, November 10, 2019 from 1700-2000 hours at James Reid Funeral Home at 1900 John Counter Boulevard, Kingston, Ontario (please enter through the back-parking lot doors). Memorial donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada or UHKF (Cancer Centre) Of Southeastern Ontario would be appreciated.
