Don passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 3, 2019 in his 89th year.  He is survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth.  Loving father of Glen, Pamela, and Neil and daughter-in-law Athena. Cherished grandfather to John (Erin), Megan (Steve), Emily, Larry, and Joey.  Brother-in-law of Don and Gail Jennings.  Don's family were early settlers in Kingston and he loved Kingston dearly.  He duck hunted on Wolfe and Amherst Islands and fished from the "Hoopdeck" his beloved boat.  He was a ranked tennis player in his early years, and also loved to play hockey.  He graduated from Queen's Medical School and set up practice as a general practitioner.  After 4 years he embarked on residency training, and served as an ear, nose and throat surgeon for many years at both KGH and Hotel Dieu.  Cremation at James Reid Crematorium will be followed by a private family service at Cataraqui Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to University Hospitals Kingston Foundation.
