Obituary of Helen Margaret Garrett

GARRETT, Helen Margaret
Born in Perth, Ontario on May 14, 1921, Helen passed away peacefully at Rosewood Retirement Home in Kingston, on Monday, November 4, 2019, in her 99th year.  Helen is predeceased by her husbands, John Garrett and Warren Garrett.  Daughter of the late Milton and Margaret McCall.  Dear mother of the late Dave (Treba) and Brian.  Grandmother of Matt (Diana); Kate (Ken) and great-grandmother of Jack, Ethan and Karina. Sister of Joyce Holmes and the late Ilah McCreary.  Family and friends will be received at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, Kingston, on Friday, November 8 from 10:00 am until 10:50 am.  The funeral service will begin in the Chapel at 11:00 am, with Reverend Judith Evenden officiating.  A reception will follow in the James Reid Reception Centre.  Interment at Zealand United Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society in Mrs. Garrett's memory.
