BEDFORD, Sarah “Sadie”

(nee Alderdice)

Sadie passed away peacefully at Fairmount Home in Glenburnie on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at the age of 93.  Predeceased by Ken Bedford, her husband of 62 years, and by her parents Harry and Mary and brother William.  Proud mother of Dan (Nancy), Wayne (Jane) and Marylou Gostlin (Garry).  She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Derek (Jen), Melissa (Mike), Craig, Sarah (Jason), Jake, April (Paul) and Carrie (Rob) and by her eleven great-grandchildren.  Sadie’s family offers sincere gratitude to all the staff at Fairmount Home for the loving care and compassion provided to Mom during her years there.  There will be a visitation held at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Saturday, November 2 from 12:30 pm until 1:20 pm.  The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 1:30 pm with Pastor Lewis Bryant officiating.  Interment at Cataraqui Cemetery will be followed by a reception in the James Reid Reception Centre.  As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or, the charity of your choice.
