Obituary of Gloria Jean Malette

Gloria Jean (“Toots”) Malette (nee Keeler)

Surrounded by family, Toots passed away peacefully at home on October 21, 2019. She fought hard for many years, but lost her battle to cancer at the age of 73. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 54 years; Ed Malette. Loving mother to daughters Lisa (Brent) and Kim (Stephanie). Cherished by her granddaughters Alisha (Riley), Mackenzie and Paige (Connor). She will be missed dearly by her sisters Shirley Lancaster (Bob) and Lorna Barker (Gary). Dear friend to Cathy, Marie and Deb. Thank you to Jacqui, Heather and Amanda for their companionship and making her final days comfortable. The family welcomes friends for a Celebration of Life November 2nd, 2019 from 1-5pm at Rideau Acres. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made by cheque or credit card to UHKF - Cancer Centre.
