1936-2019
Peacefully on October 20, 2019, Pat died at the John M. Parrott Centre in Napanee. Pat enjoyed 83 years of life. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret (Murphy) Slack, 2005. Pat was father to Kathryn (Mike) Muise, Terri, and Patrick (Ivanka) and grandfather to seven grandchildren. Poppa’s grandchildren were the lights and delights of his life. He and Margie were wonderful grandparents. Pat was a supportive brother to Mike (Marg) Slack, Therese (John) McGurn, Pauline (the late Meryl) Rush, Veronica (John) Withers, Benny (Shirley) Slack, Anthony (Geraldine) Slack and Teckla (Bernie) Gaffney. He was a loved friend and brother-in-law to Margie’s family. He will be dearly missed. We are happy that he and Mom are finally reunited.
Friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 10:30 am -12:30 pm, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 392 Palace Road, Kingston at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow the Funeral Mass in the James Reid Funeral Home Reception and Celebration Centre (entering from the rear parking lot doors).
