Obituary of Catharine Hodges

HODGES, Nora Catharine 
1928-2019
Born in Stratford, ON, Catharine died peacefully in her sleep at Fairmount Home on Wednesday, October 16. Wife of the late George Hodges who pre-deceased her in 1982. Mother of Nora Mclernon [Mike], John [Maureen], Liz Stewart [John], Stephen [Susanna], Thom, Greg [Judy].  A loving grandmother to 14, and great gramma to 20.  Mom loved travelling Canada in her camper, bird watching, rock collecting and enjoying the scenery.  She was an avid gardener, loved canning her produce and made the best butter tarts in Eastern Canada. The family extends sincere gratitude to all the caregivers at Fairmount Home for their compassion and exemplary care provided to Catharine. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers and in recognition of Catharine's many years as a volunteer at the Partners in Mission Food Bank in Kingston, donations to Partners in Mission Food Bank will be greatly appreciated.
