La-Verne will also be dearly missed by Susan Robertson.
Special thanks to the many friends and family for their calls and visits over the past few months. La-Verne was fond of his 65+ years at Bay and Bagot Street working at Cochrane's Grocery as well as his earlier years running around the Hickey and Corcoran farms in Bedford with his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
For the past several months, La-Verne has enjoyed living back "in the hood" on Bay and Bagot Streets and appreciated his weekly time with Brian Dowling, Kate Jackson, Carol and Sam McKane, Chris Corcoran, Mary Lou Chapman, Tommy Dee, Ernie Agent, Sheila and Don Turner, Friar David, Joyce Orr, Judy Van-Viet for his massages and Sebastian from Woziak Physiotherapy and cherished the many other visitors that came to spend time with him.
A huge thank you to the wonderful staff at the KGH Cancer Clinic, Palliative Care Team, Dr. Monahan and the many wonderful PSW's from Saint Elizabeth and Paramed… special mention to Misty, Deb, Jen, Gavin, Oosha, Andy, Natalie and Aaron as well as the amazing nurses from CBI Home Health especially Melanie.
