Obituary of Walter Johnson

EARL WALTER JOHNSON

Born on December 15, 1939, Gravenhurst, Muskoka, Ontario, Walter passed away in his home in Kingston, October 7, 2019. He lived in many places such as Cobalt, Rouyn-Noranda and Sherbrooke before marrying Joan Marie Ravenscroft (deceased) July 22, 1961 in Trenton, Ontario and settling down in Kingston. Walter was an avid gardener and enjoyed studying History and the Bible. He retired from Dupont in Kingston after 39 years. Predeceased by his wife, Joan, parents, Alma (Rainey) and Henry Johnson, sister Marjorie and brother, Keith. Walter is survived by his brother Ross (Gloria) Johnson and sister, Mary Lou (Brian) Verbonac, his daughter Katrina (Giacinto) and son, Conrad (Herlene), granddaughter, Cassandra (Braulio), great grandchildren Izabella and Luca. A memorial service will be held at the KINGDOM HALL OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES (849 Development Drive) on Saturday, November 2 at 2:30 pm.  Refreshments to follow.  Contributions to The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society may be made in Mr. Johnson's memory.
