Obituary of Valerie Allan

Valerie Allan died peacefully in her home on Friday, September 13^th. She was diagnosed with cancer in early July and it progressed swiftly. She was in no pain. She was predeceased by her sister, Alexandra, and her parents, Richard and Norma. She is survived by her husband, Garth Allan. A funeral service will be held at Christ Church Cataraqui Parish Centre, 990 Sydenham Road, Kingston, on Saturday, September 21^st at 11 AM, followed by an interment at Christ Church Cemetery. The reception to share happy memories of Valerie’s life will take also take place at the Parish Centre.  For those who wish, donations in Valerie’s memory may be made to the Granite Ridge Education Centre (donations by cheque only and please include the Alexandra Art Award in the memo).
