Obituary of Thomas Arthur Reighburn Ball

BALL, Thomas Arthur Reighburn 
September 11, 1932 - August 18, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Thomas. It was sudden but peaceful after a lovely day spent with his family.

He was predeceased by his beloved Norma Lovegrove and leaves behind his cherished children Jennifer (Jessica) and Anthony (Nancy).

His adored grandchildren Madelaine, Kevin and Xavier. As well as his nephews John and David Ball.

Thomas graduated from Montreal Technical School and then Sir George Williams University in Montreal in Mathematics and Physics. His distinguished career in the telecommunications sector was elevated by numerous innovation awards at Bell-Northern Research and Northern Telecom.

His innate curiosity lead to him being an expert in many areas including physics, mathematics, natural science and all facets of engineering.

Thomas applied advanced physics to his love of pool and billiards making it impossible for any family members to beat him.

A private ceremony for Thomas will be held at a later date.
