Obituary of Gertrude Eileen Murphy

MURPHY, Gertrude Eileen
Unexpectedly at her home in Kingston, on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, in her 89th year.  Predeceased by her husband Denis Lachance (2016) and by her first husband of 50 years and father of Allen and Larry, Howard Murphy (1999).  Dear mother of Allen (Brenda) of Kingston and Larry (Mary) of Calgary.  Dear sister of Alice, Muriel and Eldon. Predeceased by Clare, Betty, Rita and Iva.  Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Nicole, Matthew (Jodie), Cory (Dina) and Amanda (William) and great-grandchildren Mia, Will, Callen, Tim, Alyssa, Catherine, Nicolas, Brooklyn and Joshua.  In accordance with Gert's wishes, cremation has taken place at the James Reid Funeral Home Crematorium.  A private family graveside service at Desert Lake Cemetery will take place at a later date.  As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
