Obituary of Jack Martin

MARTIN, John Ross "Jack"

Jack peacefully passed away at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday, July 26, 2019.  Beloved husband of the late Maxine (nee Traynor).  Loving Father and best friend of Jackie (Grant Greenaway), Sharon (Tom Hanna), Janice Dobler and Doug Martin.  Papa Jack of Jennifer, Sarah, Justin, Patrick, Jacob, Curtis, Richelle, Selena, and Lyndsey and great grandfather of 11.  Jack was always active after a long career at Alcan and pursued many other interests.  Jack’s main passion was spending time with and helping his family.  Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd.) on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 6-8 pm.  Funeral service will be held at the Kingston Standard Church (corner of Sunnyside Road and Sydenham Road, Kingston) on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 11:00 am.  Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.  As expressions of sympathy, donations in Jack's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre of SE Ontario)
