Obituary of Mildred Potter (nee Cox)

Founder of Potters Nurseries Ltd.

Passing away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre – KGH. Daughter of the late Orville Cox and the late Margaret Corcoran. Dear wife of the late Stanley Gibbons Potter, loving mother of Cindy (Jeff) of Roslin and Kent (Diane). Loving grand-mother of Brandon and Dana Potter, Lexi Boston. Beloved sister of Della (late Mervin Costello), Margo (Joe St. Antoine) and the late Dianne (Garnett), the late John (Grace), Rodney (Judy) and many nieces and nephews. 

Heartfelt thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff of the CSU, who cared for Millie and a special thank you to Lisa and Emily.

Visitation will be held at James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd), on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm. and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be Friday July 19, 2019 at 11 am. The service and burial will be private by the family’s request. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
